Video – MAC Spring Colour Trend 2010 – Playful Pink
Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

Whether brilliant or subdued, use pink this spring to add a bit of playfulness to your wardrobe.  Pink is the diluted version of red.  Both colors denote love, but red is hot, passionate and sweaty, while pink is romantic and charming.  Pink symbolizes health, femininity and love.

Pink also denotes tranquility.  In fact, many prisons paint the walls of their most “dangerous” residents pink and/or force them to wear pink . . . but I digress.

When incorporating pinks into your wardrobe, keep in mind that red based pinks, as seen in the above picture, work best on cool toned skins. On the other hand, orange based pinks, like salmon pink, are lovely against warm skin tones.

Check out the video, courtesy of MAC Cosmetics, for a peak of upcoming spring color trend features.
